why is that at a certain age, you are considered too old for fairytales or children’s books. a birthday party, another notch on the belt, then you’re expected to read novels or short stories. when i have kids, i’ll teach them the different myths; greek, russian, and italian. i think that a big part of people losing their creativity as they get older is the loss of those stories.
